Zachary Browne hired as ETPD's newest Full-Time Officer

On May 24, 2021, Ptl. Zachary Browne, was sworn in via Zoom as ETPD’s newest Patrolman. Ptl. Browne is a Northern Burlington High School graduate and continued his education having obtained a bachelors degree in Law/Justice from Rowan University.

After continuing his path and pursuit of a career in Law Enforcement, Ptl. Browne worked for the Mt. Holly Police Department as a Class II Officer after graduating from the Gloucester County Police Academy. Ptl. Browne thanked the council and ETPD administration during his oath of office, having cited he is the first in his family to have a career in law enforcement.

Ptl. Browne’s training is underway as he will be completing the rigorous three phase FTO (Field Training Officer) program where he will learn all phases of police work/policies. If you see Ptl. Browne on patrol make sure to say hello!
