Community Policing

About Our Community Policing Program

ETPD's Community Policing Unit is a function in the police department in which building community relations is the main focus. What is community policing you ask? It bears many definitions but the primary goal is humanizing the badge and really getting to know our residents and beyond. ETPD has long been known as a community policing department with many of its day to day activities gearing more towards involvement in the community. We take pride in partaking in community events such as Eastampton Day, our Youth Academy, and its Veterans Day ceremonies. Whether it is giving back and providing donations, or just being there for our community and getting to know our neighbors and establishing relations with the business owners in the township, the Community Policing Unit is the true fabric of ETPD.
