Nicholas Peditto announced as newest ETPD SLEO II Officer

On October 24th, 2022, Nicholas Peditto was sworn as ETPD’s newest SLEO II. As a SLEO II (Special Law Enforcement Officer Class II), his duties and responsibilities will include firearms backgrounds, code enforcement, as well as assisting at the Eastampton Community School.

SLEO II Peditto graduated from the Burlington County Police Academy and began his law enforcement career with the Lumberton Township Police Department, the first and only police department he had served (1996-2022). Over the course of his 26 year career at Lumberton Township Police Department, he held many titles including Patrolman, Detective, Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and most recently the Chief of Police prior to retiring.

Nicholas Peditto has extensive law enforcement education and with his wealth of knowledge and experience in our field, this will certainly be an asset to our department.
