Ptl. Brandon Picou named 2022 Officer of the Year

Ptl. Picou began his career with ETPD in 2019. Prior to joining ETPD, Ptl. Picou, joined the United States Marine Corps. after graduating high school in 2015. He would go on to serve four years where his accomplishments included him receiving the National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, and the Sea Service Deployment Medal.

After his fulfillment of his duties with the USMC, he decided to follow in his family’s footsteps in Law Enforcement as both his brother and father are currently serving in Cinnaminson and Hi-Nella respectively. Ptl. Picou enrolled himself into the Alternate Route Program and graduated from the Gloucester County Police Academy after enduring 26 weeks of training.

Since that time, Ptl. Picou has been a hardworking and consistent officer while establishing himself here at ETPD. Additionally he has undertaken the duties as an ACO (Animal Control Officer) as well as the head of EMT/medical supplies, and has participated as an Adopt-A-Cop at the Eastampton Community School.

As an Officer of the Year, Ptl. Picou will be awarded the Exceptional Service Award. Congratulations on your achievement!
