Sgt. Kevin Ballinger named 2021 Officer of the Year

On Monday night, Sgt. Kevin Ballinger was named ETPD’s 2021 Officer of the Year. Sgt. Ballinger is a well known officer throughout the township and is known for his humor, kind heartedness, knowledge, and strong work ethic. Said Chief Iacovitti on the recipient of the 2021 Officer of the Year, “Kevin and I have worked together for a long time, even at one point being partners. We have seen a lot together and one thing I know is that he is the true example of what an EASTAMPTON Police Officer is. We thank him for his service and what he brings to this township and its citizens. He is always willing to go above and beyond for anyone.”

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE AWARD

Additionally, Mayor Anthony Zeno honored Sgt. Kevin Ballinger with a proclamation for Exceptional Service after entering a residence that was fully involved. Being the humble leader he is, his speech was “I just got there first. My officers would have done the same thing. They are my heroes!”
